Downtown Moncton is in crisis.

Every day, more businesses are dealing with break-ins, theft, vandalism, open drug use, and physical threats. These aren’t isolated incidents. They’re a daily reality—and they’re hurting our economy, our people, and our city’s future.

It’s time to stop accepting this as normal.  It’s time to demand real change.
We Are Calling on Government to Act—Now.

The “Enough is Enough” Coalition is a growing alliance of downtown business owners, property managers, employees, and residents who believe in a simple but powerful idea:

Everyone deserves to feel safe where they live and work

This petition is a call to action, not a cry for sympathy.

It’s a demand for real, coordinated, and visible action from all levels of government.

We Demand Our Three Levels of Government to:

1. Implement a policy of Zero Tolerance for Crime - Criminal acts must have consequences. No more blurred lines. No more excuses.
2. Implement Immediate Protective Measures - Increased law enforcement visibility. Enforced bylaws. Real consequences for repeat offenders.
3. Take Accountability. - Municipal, provincial, and federal governments must stop pointing fingers and start working together.

If you believe downtown Moncton deserves better, sign your name to our petition and share your story of how crime has affected your business, your home or your quality of life.

Together, we will present this petition to elected officials and keep the pressure on until real steps are taken to restore public safety.

Your voice matters. Your safety matters.  Let’s take our city back—together.

This is just the beginning—and we need your voice.

Enough is Enough. It’s Time for Action!
